A Touch of Sparkle at the Lambertville Station Inn
On a snowy, winter day this past January, Kristine reached out to me about stationery for her upcoming wedding in June. Her and her fiancé Jason were engaged in October, and although they had a short time to plan their wedding, she knew she wanted her invitations to be personal and really reflect the look and vision they were planning for the big day.
She described how much they loved the grounds of the venue (the lovely Lambertville Station Inn)- the footpaths, quaint buildings, flowers, and water views. Her goal was to incorporate this vibe with a romantic, timeless, and feminine look.
“For me, when you are invited to a wedding- there is that excitement in opening up the invitation to see what it will look like and how it is packaged/presented.”
When I read this part of her inquiry I knew we would be a great match. I also believe that a wedding invitation sets the tone for your wedding day, and we would design something to perfectly match their vision.
Kristine also wanted a little bit of whimsy carried through in watercolor florals, and a touch of sparkle, so we decided to mount the main invitation piece to a gorgeous gold glitter backer. Together with a classic script and serif font combination, we created a suite truly meant for them!
Not long before the big day, Kristine asked about creating coordinating Menus and Escort Cards. I was so excited to continue working with her lovely style, and we were able to design and print them in plenty of time! It really carried the entire look into their wedding day, which was absolutely beautiful!
Here are a few more of their stunning details, including their flower pup Ruby. Also a very special shout out to Kristine’s grandmother who recently turned 92!
Thank You to Kristine & Jason for trusting me with your beautiful vision. I am so glad you had a magical day, and enjoyed working with me as much as I enjoyed getting to know you both and bringing your wedding paper to life!
